Bullying based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity
You can define this type of harassment as any form of psychological, verbal or physical abuse occurred among students, repeatedly over a given period of time, motivated by the sexual orientation or gender identity of the victim. It is a kind of torture, methodically and systematically developed, in which the aggressor sinks the victim, often with silence, indifference or the complicity of other peers.
Although school bullying to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) students, shares characteristics with other kinds of harassment among students, this kind of harassment, has a number of features that are unique and that we will describe below:
