Child Sexual Abuse: The Family as Protective Factor

If we pay attention to the latest statistics on child sexual abuse, not only we see it is not shrinking, but points to an increase in recent years, which violates the right of the minors to be protected and not damaged (we already wrote about the “epidemic level” in this prior post).  If we talk about Spain, Mª Victoria Sánchez López, specialist in clinical psychology at GrupoLaberinto reminds us that some centers specializing in assessment and intervention on child sexual abuse, already have waiting lists for taking care of children who are victims of abuse.
