4 Aspects for Educational Involvement

In two of our previous posts we mentioned the importance of involvement in educational and learning processes. In the post about the “values” we considered necessary for every teacher, we made a distinction between purely academic involvement, and how teachers should “get involved” in the overall development of the students. Moreover, when we addressed “how the sense of belonging improves school climate”, we also noticed how the involvement of students in activities, their participation is an essential element to develop that sense of belonging. Now we want to present the 4 aspects Carl Rogers (Father of Humanistic Psychology) considers essential for effective involvement, because research proves they make a difference between traditional teachers, and the ones who apply humanistic values:
